abhyaṇġam, — ṇǰikka S. Rubbing with oil. അഭ്യംഗസ്നാ നം = തേച്ചുകുളി f. i. മഗ്നനായപന്നൂടന്‍ അ'ന്ത ന്നിലേ നഗ്നനായ്ക്കാണായി CG. (bad omen).

kaṇam S. 1. Grain കണദ്വയം GP. = തിപ്പലി & കാട്ടു തിപ്പലി (see കണ); atom. വാള്‍ക്കണം point of sword V1. ജലകണം drop, ദൃഷ്ടികളില്‍നിന്നഗ്നികണങ്ങള്‍ തെറി ച്ചു KR. anything minute (comp. കനീയസ്സ്). 2. T. Tdbh. = ഗണം a body of persons, assembly, circle; also = ക്ഷണം 2. — ക. ഇരിക്ക the armed Brahmans to assemble in a Brahmanical temple with worship of Gaṇapati to consult on Govt. affairs ഒരു സംഘം കണമിരിക്ക, കണത്തിന്നധികാരികള്‍ KU. കണപ്പുറം the place of sitting for such purpose KU. കണക്ക a med. = കനക്ക (രാക്കണ്ണു കണത്ത തിന്നു മരുന്നു).

ńaṇuṇṇuγa So. (C. നഗ്ഗു) To be bulged, crushed. ഞണുക്കുക, ക്കി v. a. to bulge, to crush. ഞണുഞണുക്ക, ത്തു So. To be sticky, clammy.

ńeruńńil T. m. (C. നഗ്ഗിലു) Tribulus terrestris; prh. also Ruellia longifolia (ചെറിയ ഞെരിഞ്ഞില്‍). ഞെരിഞ്ഞന്പുളി Begonia Malabarica, (B. Cissus adnata). ഞെരി ഞ്ഞില്‍ വേര്‍ med. GP.

teḷiyuγa (തെളി) 1. To become clear, മതിയിടെ അവര്‍ക്കു ചാലുമതു പാലുനെയി പോലുമതു തെളിയവേ തരവേണം SidD. കാര്‍ തെളിഞ്ഞു it has cleared up. തെളിഞ്ഞ വെള്ളം transparent, clear. നിദ്ര തെളിഞ്ഞു awoke, met. അവനെ പിടിച്ചു വിസ്തരിച്ചു തെ ളിയാതേ വിട്ടു MR. as it could not be proved. 2. to brighten up പുണ്ണു വറളും കണ്ണു തെളിയും MM. തെളിയക്കടഞ്ഞ ബാണം KR. (= തെളി 2.) ശൈത്യത്താല്‍ തെളിയുന്നു VCh. said of trees. ഇതിന്നു തെളിയുന്നില്ല (as a bullock) inferior to. അവനില്‍ തെളിഞ്ഞു came off better No. തെ' ഞ്ഞു വിരിഞ്ഞു വന്നഗ്നി Bhr. മനസ്സു തെ. = പ്ര സാദിക്ക; so കേട്ടാലും തെളിഞ്ഞു നീ AR. cheer up & listen. ഭാവം തെ'ഞ്ഞു നല്കി Nal. gave gladly. നന്നിതെന്നു തെ'ഞ്ഞിതെല്ലാവരും Bhr. applauded. 3. to please. പറഞ്ഞതു തെളിഞ്ഞു is understood & pleases. തനിക്കു തെളിഞ്ഞേട ത്തു Bhr. where you like. കളഞ്ഞത് ഏതുമേ തെളിഞ്ഞില്ല Mud. people did not like his dismissal. രാജാവിന്നൊട്ടും മനസ്സില്‍ തെളിഞ്ഞില്ല Nal. മരക്കാര്‍ക്ക് അംശം തെളിഞ്ഞില്ല TP. തിരു വചനങ്ങള്‍ പെരിക ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കു തെളിഞ്ഞു KR. — to be approved, നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു തെളിഞ്ഞ രാജാ വു KU. the king you chose. നിണക്കു തെളി യട്ടേ TP. as you please, it is your business. 4. a matter to be decided. നിങ്ങള്‍ മുന്പാകേ തെളിഞ്ഞു തീരുന്നതത്രേ സമ്മതമായി TR. they want you to decide — തെളിവോളം till you come to a conclusion.
