čaraḍụ (S. സരം, സരില്‍) T. M. String, esp. nuptial, ചരടററവള്‍ a widow (ചരടു വാ ങ്ങിയവള്‍ V1., ച. പറിച്ച സ്ത്രീ B.). പെണ്ണു ങ്ങള്‍ കഴുത്തു കെട്ടുന്ന എണ്ണച്ചരടു TR.—bowstring, see കൈച്ച., also ചവളം ചരട്ടുകുന്ത ങ്ങളും SitVij. lances thrown & recovered by a string. യന്ത്രതോരണച്ച. Mud. a string which brings down the whole arch.—measuring line നീളത്തില്‍ ചില ച. പിടിച്ചും RS. ńeṇṇuγa (C. നെഗ്ഗു) & ഞ — (C. നള to be mellow) 1. To become soft or mellow, malleable as gold. 2. to yield, sink. ഞെക്കുക (V1. ഞെള്‍ക്കുക = ഞെരുക്കു) 1. to press, strangle (Tu. നുക്കു). കഴുത്തു ഞെക്കുന്ന ദേ ഹരോഗം a. med. പിടിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ ഞെക്കീടാ ഞ്ഞാല്‍ prov. 2. to squeeze, crush, നഖ ത്തില്‍ ആക്കി ഞെക്കിക്കൊന്നു (a louse); to make impressions with the thumb. ഞെക്കിപ്പ ഴുപ്പിച്ച പഴം പോലെ prov.; ഞെക്കിനോക്ക.

taḍam S. 1. Declivity, shore (fr. തട 2). 2. dependent parts of the body, as കടിതടം, സ്തനതടം. 3. M. T.
