GP. പഴങ്ക., തവിട്ട് ക. etc. V1. കാടിക്കഞ്ഞി or പീരക്ക. half fermented rice-water, food in scarcity. 2. starch. ക. ഇട്ടവസത്രം, ക. പിഴിയുക etc. Hence: കഞ്ഞാററി a sort of brass dish on which Māppiḷḷas put their plates. കഞ്ഞിക്കലം 1. pot to keep canji. 2. a girl at her first menstruation (കന്യ?); ക. ഇരിക്ക to serve her during that time. കഞ്ഞിക്കൂര്‍ക്കില്‍ sage, Salvia. കഞ്ഞിപ്പശ glue from starch. കഞ്ഞിപ്പോത്തു polype (of gelatine consistency) or കാഞ്ഞു q. v. കഞ്ഞിമുട്ട (and കന്നിമുട്ടു) a Scitamineum, sort of മലയിഞ്ചി. കഞ്ഞിവെള്ളം കൊടുക്ക TR. to give food.
