Kinds: എരോപ്പക്കൈത American aloe (for hedges). കാട്ടുകൈത & കാനക്കൈത Limodorumcarinat. കൈതത്തടി Pand. sylvestris. പേരക്കൈത Tunga diandra. കടക്കൈത used for the ceremony of summoning by planting the shrub before the housedoor, കൈത കൊത്തികൊണ്ടുവന്നു നടവാതുക്കല്‍ കുഴിച്ചുവെക്ക Trav. കൈതച്ചക്ക pineapple; also അനാസി & അനനാസ്. കൈതത്താളി a palm-tree with small cocoanuts (ചെന്തേങ്ങാ). കൈതപ്പുലി leopard. കൈതോലപ്പായി pandanus mat. കൈതോലപ്പാന്പു MR., — ക്കുറിഞ്ഞി, — മൂര്‍ഖന്‍ a small dangerous snake.

koṇḍa 1. T. M. (C. Tu. ഗൊണ്ട) Tuft of hair, hair-tresses. കൊണ്ടകെട്ടുക to tie the hair in a tuft. കൊണ്ടകെട്ടി N. pr. Coṇḍōṭṭi SE. of Calicut. കൊണ്ടന്‍കോഴി = ജാതിക്കോഴി (loc.) 2. koḷḷi 4 (Te. കൊറവി) 1. Firebrand, firewood, fr. കൊളുത്തുക 2. — തറവാടു കൊ.വെ ച്ചു ചുട്ടു TR. ഗൃഹങ്ങളില്‍ കൊ' കള്‍ വെക്ക AR. കൊ. വെച്ചിട്ടു മുടിച്ചു കളക Bhr. പുകയുന്ന കൊളളി പുറം പോകട്ടെ met.
