taγaḍụ a M. = തകിടു. തകടി broad, plain; table-land (So.), തകടി പ്പുറം B. — തകടിപ്പുല്‍ a grass.

ter̀ukka (T. to bruise) 1. v. a. To pull up the cloth, as when wading (തെരുക്ക); to roll up തിരി തെ. Tantr.; അരുവു തെറുത്തു കുത്തു ക V2. to hem; to stop water-courses. 2. v. n. (T. തെറുക) water to stand, to be dammed up. തെറുത്തു നോക്ക to fix one with the eye. തേരട്ട തെറുത്തു കിടക്ക MC. lies rolled up. CV. തെറുപ്പിക്ക to enclose water by dykes (= ചെറുക്ക). തെറുതെറുപ്പു = തെരുതെരുപ്പു (loc.)

tavụ = താഴ് q. v. A bolt, lock. വടിക്കു താ വു തീര്‍ക്കും അന്പുകൊല്ലന്‍ KN. insert shutters (for arms, amulets, etc.) in sticks, shafts.

taṭṭam 1. T. So. A flat plate. 2. (loc.) a pony, see II. തട്ടു. 3. (C. Te. ദട്ടി) long cloth tied round the waist, see തടുപ്പു) cloth as used for veils etc. സുല്‍ത്താന്‍റെ ത. Ti. Tippu's garment. അരെക്ക ഒരു ത. കെട്ടി jud. — ചന്ദ്ര ക്കലത്തട്ടം the nimbus-like arch under which the idol is suspended when carried about.

tukkuγa (T.to eat) = ഇരന്നു ന ടക്ക. A beggar is called തുക്കി or തുക്കിപ്പെറു ക്കി (loc.); പെറുക്കിത്തുക്കിനായി (No., abuse).

tāruṇyam S.( തരു) Youth. — താരു ണ്യകാലം മുഴുത്തു കുമാരിക്കു VetC.

tūruγa T. M. & തുവരുക 2. (C. തൂതു, Te. തൂടു a hole).
