nambụ (Te. C. നന q. v.) 1. A shoot, sprout, as വള്ളി ന. of pepper No.; ന. പൊട്ടു ക Palg. So. paddy shed to sprout while reaping, (കാലായി മുളെക്കുക No.); so ചന്പാന്‍, ചിറേറ നി etc. നന്പു. 2. the scion of a family (prh. = നനു, നന്നി). 3.
