ńāyam Tdbh., ന്യാ — 1. Reason, right. ജാതിഞായം caste-rule. ഞാ. കൊണ്ടു വിസ്ത രിച്ചു TR., പണമരികേ ഞായം prov., കോപത്തി ന്നു ഏതുമേ ഞാ. ഇല്ല CG. no cause for. 2. complaint. ചക്കകട്ട ഞാ. വിസ്തരിപ്പാന്‍ TR. complaint about a jackfruit. അവരുടെ ഞാ. അവരു ടെ ജാതിയില്‍ തന്നേ തീര്‍ത്തു കൊളളുന്നുണ്ടു TR. ഞാ'വും കൂട്ടവും quarrel. — esp. ഞായം കൊ ടുപ്പിച്ചു TR., ഞായം ചൊല്ലി ഒഴിക്ക to divorce, dissolving a connexion before arbitrators. ഞായഹീനന്‍ ചെന്നു Sk. defeated, ashamed. 3. custom, common way. കാട്ടിലേ കോ ഴിക്കേ ഞാ. ഇല്ലേതുമേ വീട്ടിലേ കോഴിക്കേ ഞാ. ഉളളു CG. crowing regularly. ഉത്സവം കൊളേള ണം വിണ്ണവര്‍ നാഥനു വത്സരംതോറും എന്നു ണ്ടു ഞാ. dvand/?/vam S. (ദ്വ = ദ്വി) l. A pair വീ ക്ഷണ ദ്വ. CG.; സപ്തലോകദ്വ. SitVij. = 14. 2. a pair of opposites ദ്വന്ദ്വജാലങ്ങള്‍ Bhr., as സുഖദുഃഖം, ശീതോഷ്ണം, ജനനമൃതി etc. ദ്വന്ദ ഭ്രമം തീരും Bhg. 3. a duel, fight ദ്വന്ദ്വയുദ്ധ ത്തില്‍ മരിച്ചാര്‍ Bhr. ദ്വന്ദ്വപര്‍വ്വങ്ങള്‍ VCh. both പര്‍വ്വം or വാവു. ദ്വന്ദ്വഹീനന്‍ a neutral person.
